You might think at first glances of the landscape that Japan wouldn't be very advanced and wouldn't be rich because they have none or hardly or their own natural resources. If you actually visited Japan you would be completely wrong.

Japan has to import all of its natural resources, even the oil because they do not have any of their own. Despite the fact Japan has a lot of mountains there is nothing in there that is worth mining. They spend a lot of money each year on natural resources each year although what they spend is normally doubled or tripled on what they bring back in. They export all sorts of things all over the world ranging from mobile phones to next generation games consoles! Japan is always one step ahead of the rest of the world.

One reason why Japan is so advanced is that all the people are enthusiastic about working. They work as hard as they can; working long, long hours just to get it all done! This is a big contributor to Japans success. The workers have breaks where they exercise to keep their minds physically active all the time to keep calm. If someone can't get a good job they will quite happily go and do something in the lower class just to help the country.

Japan exports many goods every year. They earn a lot of money and all good brand names, or most of them at least, come from Japan like Sony, Nintendo and Sharp. A lot of Japanese people can afford to buy these products and many people around the word are literally 'begging' to buy their products because they are so good. If you look at your TV, games console or PC you will probably find it is made by a Japanese company.

You will find that most of the products that come from Japan are electrical. This is because Japan is largely advanced in electrical items and robots and they know how to make all sorts of new thins from just a simple and humble idea. The Japanese people have started from basically nothing to become the biggest and largest by far advanced country in the world in electrical items.

One of the reasons why Japan can do all of these things because they have access to good, quality raw materials and power from overseas. This enables them to make good quality merchandise for a fraction of the cost quickly. They also have good management in the companies and good quality control of the products so no bad products get out and only good things come in.

The Japanese government also help the business get along by giving them money and together they both plan for the good of the Japanese people's future. This is helps the companies a lot because they can get money for the company easily if they need. The companies will also quite happily give their money back to the government with more as they have close ties with each other.

In the future Japan may face problems because the oil prices might rise so that they might lose money from the selling because of the prices of the raw materials. They might also face the unemployment crisis because some companies getting things made overseas, causing the people in Japan to become a little poorer.
